Scope: Website Development for Restaurant (take-away / dine-in)
Objective: To build a modern, responsive website for Lahori Xpress that showcases their menu, enables online orders, and enhances their digital presence.


Background

Lahori Xpress is a restaurant specialising in Halal Pakistani & Indian cuisine with rich flavours and traditional dishes. Lahori Xpress Prior to the new website, they likely had either no online presence or a site that didn’t reflect their brand, menu updates, or ordering capability. The goal was to help them reach more customers online, improve the ordering experience, and reflect their vibrant brand.


Challenges

  • Website needed to display a detailed, dynamic menu with multiple categories (Breakfast, BBQ, Rolls, Curries, Rice, etc) as per their menu page.
  • The restaurant wanted an ordering or “view full menu / call to order” online presence, which should work well on mobile and desktop.
  • The design needed to reflect the brand’s identity: traditional flavours + modern simplicity.
  • Performance: since many users will use mobile, the site needs to load fast.
  • Possibly integrate online ordering or call-to-action clearly for take-out & dine-in.

Strategy & Implementation

1. Design & Sitemap:

  • Created a website layout: Home → Menu → About Us → Order / Contact Us → Gallery.
  • Homepage to display hero banner with “Taste the tradition, love the flavour” message. Lahori Xpress
  • The menu page is built with sections matching their categories (Breakfast, BBQ, Curries, Rolls…) so users can easily browse.

2. Development:

  • Used responsive design (desktop + tablet + mobile) so menu items and images display well.
  • Built a menu section dynamically so the restaurant owner can update items, prices easily.
  • Added call to action, e.g., “Order Online”, “View Full Menu”, “Contact Us”.
  • Implemented performance optimisations: image compression, caching, and fast load.

3. Launch & Post-Launch Support:

  • Tested across devices (mobile/tablet/desktop), browsers.
  • Provided CMS training so Lahori Xpress can update menu items and promotions themselves.
  • After launch, monitor website analytics (traffic, bounce, mobile users) for improvements.
